Minot, N.D. (AP) _ Ward County officials hope to get more than 100 horseback riders today for a major search for 3-year-old Reachelle Smith.
The girl has been missing for more than two weeks, but authorities are not
giving up hope of finding her.
Today's search will be focused on roads and ditches in an area from Ruthville to Deering.
Deputies say those are areas where 22-year-old Leigh Cowen is believed to have traveled.
Reachelle was believed to be with Cowen. His body was found in a van in the Upper Souris Wildlife Refuge last week, but there was no sign of Reachelle. Authorities say Cowen apparently killed himself.
